Message Hi all, I have recently removed the engine from my 92TT. While it was out i performed a water bypass and removed the EGR. I also replaced the EFI harness and the lower (alternator/transmission) wiring harness. After all of this and reinstalling the engine I hollowed out the Cats and Precats as well. Now after installing the engine, it is running very rough and the ECU is giving me codes 34, 35, 51. When i drive it it runs very rough until about 3500-4000 rpm where when it boosts, it feels like it runs very well. The vehicle also safety boosts which i would like to get rid of. I intend to bypass the detonation sensor rather than replace it. If i am correct the 35 is the exhaust gas temperature sensor which is only installed on california models? I have a california car and a rebuild engine from where i dont know. So i did not find enywhere to connect the exhaust gas sensor and am wondering if this is causing part of my problem. I read in the service manual to pull the crank angle senor and slowly rotate it to see that each injector actuates. All injectors function.
I don't know what to do from here. Is there something that i could have screwed up in the process? any and all help would be apprecciated
